Wesley College was founded in 1845 in St. Stephen's Green, Dublin. In 1969 it moved to its present fifty-acre site in Ballinteer. The College is under the control of a Board of Governors, appointed each year by the Methodist Church in Ireland.

Wilson's Hospital School is the Church of Ireland Diocesan secondary school of Meath and Kildare. We are a seven-day boarding school, operating a five-day teaching week.
