Cork Masters Swimming Club

There are two large open water races in Cork every year. The Lee Swim in particular is expected to host 200 swimmers and up to 5,000 spectators in 2006.

International Sailing

Based on Cobh's historic waterfront International Sailing have been introducing watersports to beginners for over 30 years. Courses are available in dinghy sailing, powerboating, cruiser sailing, watersport activity for juniors, navigation, radio, GPS, and a host of other shorebased courses. Learning can be fun on a weekend, weeklong or evening course!! Our team of highly qualified instructors willhelp you enjoy learning in total safety.


Irish Canoe Polo

Canoe polo is a fast, aggressive five-a-side game based on Water Polo but played in short canoes, with the goals (measuring 1 by 1.5 meters) suspended 2 metres above the water.

This site is an up to date information service for members of the association and all those interested in Laser sailing. The Irish Laser Association has approx 200 members with a good mix of Standard rig and Radial rig, and active Masters and Junior scenes.
